Diane has a strong structural background. Prior to establishing Diane Durocher Interiors in 1995, she had ten years of work experience with a general contractor. Diane enjoys the pre-construction phase, rising to the challenge of transforming a blank slate into a fabulous reality. Today, she frequently works in conjunction with major New Jersey builders.
Under her skillful hands, interiors lacking in character are transformed into stunning residences that reflect the client’s individual needs and unique life style. As testimony of her expertise, in 2004 Diane received a Silver Award of Excellence from the New Jersey Chapter ofASID. Interior architectural details and trompe l’ oeil effects, partnered with a careful furniture plan and sophisticated color palette, were employed to bring formality and charm to the award-winning 6,000 square foot home. In 2006 she was awarded the Chapter’s Gold Award of Design Excellence for a Residential Show House and a Bronze Award of Design Excellence for Small Corporate Spaces.
