A well-respected designer for more than 25 years, Diane Durocher believes that the foundation of successful design is built on trust and confidence. Connecting on a deeply personal level enables Diane to design inspired spaces that reflect her client’s unique personalities and lifestyles.  With a keen eye for color, outstanding space planning skills, and the ability to design customized pieces, Diane brings her client's vision to life.

From an early age Diane enjoyed spending weekends browsing antique shops and poring through design magazines such as House Beautiful and Architectural Digest. Memories of  Thanksgiving dinners at her aunt’s house cemented her love for interior design. From the matching, tie-back, pinched pleat panels to the antique chandelier and from the crackling fire to the impeccably set table, the perfect ambiance seemed to make the meal taste even more delicious. That was when Diane realized that a well designed home is not just a lovely backdrop, it also influences how we live our lives.

Prior to establishing Diane Durocher Interiors in 1995, she had ten years of experience working with her husband, who is a general contractor. This gives her tremendous insight into all aspects of design implementation. This unique perspective enables her to not only create beautiful designs but also personally project manage the entire process. She rises to the challenge of transforming a blank slate into a stunning reality. Her ultimate goal is to exceed her client’s expectations.

Diane is an award winning designer whose talent has been recognized throughout her career.  She has received numerous “Design of Excellence” awards from the New Jersey Chapter of ASID.  She has also been selected to showcase her work in many prominent designer showhouses in New Jersey and is often featured in prestigious design publications.

Design Associate

Allied, ASID

Heather knew from a young age that interior design was her calling. As a child she often spent her weekends rearranging the furniture in her bedroom or building houses out of construction paper, making sure to color the “walls” and create little pieces of furniture. Fast forward to 2012, when she graduated from Berkeley College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design Management.

As an integral part of the DDI team since January 2013, Heather is a talented interior designer and an attentive listener who is adept at developing a rapport with clients, architects, contractors and vendors alike. Attention to detail and project management skills are two of her strengths that help ensure each project runs smoothly and efficiently. Heather uses her AutoCAD and Chief Architect proficiency to create floor plans, elevations and perspective drawings. Her eye for design makes her the perfect fit to manage Diane Durocher Interiors’ growing social media platform.
